Description:
Diedrich Coffee’s signature blend. It was created by Carl Diedrich as a homage to the tradition of Vienna’s great coffeehouses. Not to be mistaken with a "Viennese" blend or roast, the Wiener Melange is precisely blended to replicate the taste of the old Viennese coffeehouse. Primarily a dark roast blend combining Espresso and French roasts, it is balanced with a lighter roast from Central America. All these roasts, from darkest to lightest, are carefully blended in proper proportions to complement one another, producing a deep, rich, complex coffee. Recommended for espresso makers, although it also produces a nice cup with a drip filter.
